Covid-19 update

Frances Perry House has changed its visitor policy, effective from Tuesday 2 March.

Special Care Nursery – Two parents/guardians can visit together at any time. A maximum of two other visitors (adults or the baby’s siblings) can visit together during visiting hours, which are from 2pm-8pm. There can be a maximum of three people per cot at any one time.

Birth Centre – Two birth partners/support people can be present during labour and birth, with no time limit.

All maternity wards – Two visitors (adults or children of the patient) can visit together during visiting hours, which are from 2pm-8pm. Partners/support people count as visitors but have no time restrictions. There can be a maximum of two people per bed at any one time.

Outpatient appointments – One partner/support person can accompany a patient to an appointment.

Babies aged 12 months or younger can accompany their mother in the hospital buildings. All other children can visit as outlined above.

Please note that participation in the Parenting Program at the Grand Hyatt Hotel remains an option for new mothers, provided that your obstetrician considers you to be suitable.

Thank you as ever for your understanding and cooperation. We will update you when these guidelines change.
