Women's Cancer Foundation Fundraising

03-Mar-2015

Over the last few months, we have dedicated our fundraising efforts to The Women's Cancer Foundation (WCF). For our annual Christmas party, we invited our guests to wear a wig to show support. For every wig worn, we donated $10 to WCF. Even if our guests were unable to attend, as long as they sent us a photo, we donated! Turned out to be a great success with over 50 entries with some who were very creative and looking fabulous in their wigs.

Dr Khai Mohamed Noor also put on her walking shoes and participated in the We Can Walk It Out Fun Run on Sunday 15 February 2015. It was special event for Khai as she dedicated it to her young niece who is undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer.

During this period we raised over $2000 from our Christmas party, Khai’s walk and donations from our consulting rooms. We are so happy to have the support of our colleagues and patients.

Women's Cancer Foundation is continually striving to make a difference in the research of ovarian cancer. We are here to support and also ask the same.  Fundraising will help make this task a little bit easier. You can donate here.
